Zeche Zollverein
This is an old coal mine industrial complex in Essen (Ruhr Valley) that found its entry to the UNESCO list of World Heritage Sites in 2001. I went there twice for photography, first as participant in a "photography by night"-training. Two years later followed a visit in daylight - a cold winter day it was - and somehow it was like being there for the first time, such was the difference in ambience.
